Welcome to TruSequence Labs (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, booking services, or submitting a sample, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
TruSequence Labs provides mobile DNA sample collection services for both personal (non-legal) and legal (court-admissible) DNA testing. All testing services are performed in partnership with certified laboratories.
TruSequence Labs does not provide medical diagnoses, medical treatment, or legal advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to book services for yourself.
Minors may only be tested with a parent or legal guardian present and with proper consent documentation.
3. Booking & Payments
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Payments are primarily accepted online. On-site payments may be accepted only by prior approval.
- Failure to submit remaining payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- No refunds will be issued once a DNA sample has been collected or submitted to the laboratory.
- Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- One (1) reschedule is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice.
5. Legal DNA Testing Requirements
Legal (court-admissible) DNA testing requires:
- Valid government-issued photo identification
- Strict chain-of-custody procedures
- Compliance with all documentation requirements
Failure to comply may result in test invalidation without refund.
6. Accuracy & Limitations
While DNA testing is highly accurate, TruSequence Labs does not guarantee specific outcomes. Results are dependent on laboratory analysis and proper sample collection.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
We take privacy seriously. Use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Privacy Notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruSequence Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the states in which services are provided, including Alabama and Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
